The Hottest Female Olympians Of The 2008 Summer Olympics: 10-1

10. Branca Feres & Bia Feres

Country: Brazil
How they’ve fared in the 2008 Summer Olympics: There’s actually conflicting info on whether or not these twins are actually competing in the Olympics at all, and I haven’t been able to dig up anything that says conclusively either way. But they are synchronized swimmers, and we’re going to go ahead and call that close enough, because come on, look at them.

9. Leryn Franco

Country: Paraguay
How she’s fared in the 2008 Summer Olympics: Franco failed to advance past the preliminaries in the javelin, where she actually finished second to last, but that doesn’t hurt her ranking on our list. She’s easily one of the hottest athletes in these Olympics. Her real career is probably modeling more so than athletics, but she claims the modeling is just a sideline that enables her to have the time and finances to compete. But whatever, she’s hot which is what truly matters.

8. Natalie Coughlin

Country: USA
How she’s fared in the 2008 Summer Olympics: Natalie Coughlin has had an incredible Olympics, and would have probably been the American star of the games if it weren’t for Michael Phelps. She’s won an impressive six medals, including one gold.

7. Daniela Hantuchova

Country: Slovakia
How she’s fared in the 2008 Summer Olympics: Hantuchova lost 6-1 6-3 to Denmark’s Caroline Wozniacki in the second round of the women’s tournament.

6. Logan Tom

Country: USA
How she’s fared in the 2008 Summer Olympics: Logan Tom is a member of the US Women’s Volleyball team, which advanced to the semi-finals on Wednesday beating Italy in a dramatic five set win. They play Cuba next.

5. Amanda Beard

Country: USA
How she’s fared in the 2008 Summer Olympics: Beard’s best days were probably behind her, so it was a bit surprising that she didn’t retire after the 2004 Athens games (her 3rd Olympics). She only competed in the Women’s 200m Breaststroke in Beijing and failed to make it out of the heats, finishing sixth in her heat, and 18th overall in the prelims.

4. Jennie Finch

Country: USA
How she’s fared in the 2008 Summer Olympics: Finch is a member of the US Women’s Softball team, which will be going for a gold medal against Japan early Thursday morning.

3. Maria Sharapova

Country: Russia
How she’s fared in the 2008 Summer Olympics: Sharapova never got out of the gates for the Olympics, pulling out just before the start claiming injury. But she was technically on the Russian team, which easily gets her a spot on our list.

2. Hope Solo

Country: USA
How she’s fared in the 2008 Summer Olympics: Hope is the goalie for the US Women’s soccer team, which is going for a gold medal against Brazil on Thursday.

1. Ana Ivanovic

Country: Serbia
How she’s fared in the 2008 Summer Olympics: Like Sharapova, Ivanovic pulled out of the Olympics citing an injury, but we like her so much she still makes it to the top of our list. She’ll be the top seed at the upcoming US Open though, so she apparently wasn’t hurt too badly.
