Britney Spears Conservatorship Expected To End Soon

Britney Spears’ conservatorship will reportedly end within the next three months.

Spears’ father Jamie Spears was granted a conservatorship over the singer’s estate in Feb. 2008 after she was hospitalized in the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute following an emotional meltdown. The elder Spears was instrumental in helping his famous daughter, 28, separate herself from toxic figures in her life.

A source close to Spears tells RadarOnline.com that the troubled pop star has made “tremendous progress” in working through her problems, as was displayed to Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Reva Goetz when she met with Britney’s attorneys last Thursday.

“Judge Goetz needed to meet with Britney and talk to her face-to-face, to see how she was doing,” the insider explains. “It’s one thing to read medical reports about her, but the in-person meeting was very important.”
Britney’s next hearing is set for Oct. 14.
